This position requires the individual to hold a current and valid United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA) Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate and a First Class Medical Certificate without limitations that would preclude serving as Captain or First Officer on any flight. The candidate must have accumulated a minimum of 3,000 hours of total flight time. Alternatively, a candidate with a minimum of 3,000 hours total flight time holding a valid FAA or GACA Commercial License and an Instrument Rating, as of the contract's effective date, may obtain an FAA or GACA ATP Certificate during the contract term.

Responsibilities:

The individual will conduct thorough pre-flight inspections, ensuring all flight plans adhere to aviation regulations and company policies. They will be responsible for operating and navigating aircraft during flights, monitoring weather, air traffic control communications, and other essential information. The role requires execution of standard operating procedures throughout all phases of flight, including take-off, cruising, and landing. The candidate must maintain effective communication with co-pilots and cabin crew to ensure smooth flight operations. The individual will provide excellent customer service to passengers, addressing their needs and ensuring their safety. Accurate and detailed flight logs and reports must be maintained as per aviation authority requirements. Finally, the candidate will stay up-to-date with aviation regulations and actively participate in continuous training and development programs.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess a valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) issued by a relevant aviation authority. A high level of proficiency in operating a variety of aircraft is essential, and type ratings are preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, along with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities when under pressure. The individual must have thorough knowledge of aviation safety regulations and emergency response procedures. They must be a team player who can effectively coordinate with cabin crew and ground staff. A commitment to upholding high standards of safety and professionalism is also required.
