Position Overview:
Endeavor Air Flight Attendants are responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout each flight, creating a welcoming and memorable onboard experience. This role demands exceptional customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to maintain composure in all situations, including emergencies. Successful candidates will be adept at providing assistance to passengers with diverse needs, including those requiring special assistance.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain passenger safety and comfort, providing superior service throughout the flight.
- Project and maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and relevant Federal Aviation Administration regulations. Respond effectively to emergency situations, including providing basic first aid and CPR.
- Prepare and serve meals, beverages, and snacks, processing associated payments.
- Provide customer service, including assisting with luggage handling.
- Respond to passenger inquiries and provide assistance, particularly to those with special needs (e.g., unaccompanied minors, elderly passengers).
- Effectively communicate with passengers via public address announcements, safety demonstrations, and other informational updates.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment and independently to accomplish tasks.
- Work in potentially confined spaces with exposure to various allergens (nuts, animals, latex, perfumes, cleaning solvents, etc.). Candidates with allergies must demonstrate the ability to effectively manage their condition within the work environment.
- The role involves working in pressurized aircraft cabins and airport environments, requiring frequent travel.
- Maintain a professional appearance, adhering to established uniform and appearance guidelines.
- Demonstrate dependability, flexibility, and commitment to completing assigned tasks efficiently.
- Manage time effectively to ensure punctuality and complete all required work assignments.
- Adapt to changing work conditions and scheduling adjustments.
- Utilize computer systems and mobile devices for communication and task completion (Microsoft Outlook and Word proficiency required).
- Stay informed on all company communications and implement updates effectively.
- Complete written reports regarding incidents and discrepancies as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to report to work at your assigned base within two hours (2.5 hours for NYC bases).
- High school diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience).
- Fluency in spoken, written, and understood English.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid passport and travel documents for unrestricted access to all Endeavor Air destinations.
- Adherence to established standards, policies, laws, and FAA regulations.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Minimum one year of customer service experience.
- Ability to maintain professional decorum, conduct, and appearance.
- Adherence to professional appearance guidelines (specific restrictions on tattoos and piercings).
- Willingness to serve alcoholic beverages and food items containing common allergens.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Successful completion of four weeks of Flight Attendant Initial Training (two weeks remote, two weeks in Minneapolis, MN; training includes compensation, travel, and accommodation).
- Successful completion of Initial Operating Experience post-training.
- Proficiency with mobile handheld devices.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. The jumpseat measures 21 inches at its widest point.
- Ability to open and close aircraft doors (up to 45 lbs) and maneuver beverage carts (approx. 32 lbs of force).
- Maximum height of 71.5 inches (5’ 11 ½”) without shoes.
- Minimum reach of 76 inches from flat feet to fingertips without shoes.
- Ability to perform various physical tasks in confined spaces (reaching, bending, twisting, etc.).
- Ability to navigate aircraft aisles comfortably.
- Ability to hear and respond clearly in noisy environments.

Compensation:
The starting hourly pay rate is USD $25.46/hour, with a guaranteed 75 credit hours per month. Pay increases are outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). The maximum hourly pay rate is USD $48.48/hour. FLSA Status: Hourly.
