About the Role

Endeavor Air, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines operating as Delta Connection, is seeking a Full-Time FTD and Simulator Instructor (FTI) for its operations in Minneapolis, MN. The FTI will be responsible for preparing and presenting comprehensive pilot training programs, including initial, transition, upgrade, recurrent, and requalification courses. This role involves assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of flight training device (FTD) and simulator training, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and maintaining training facilities. Responsibilities

• Prepare and present initial, transition, upgrade, recurrent, and requalification pilot training.
• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of FTD and simulator training.
• Ensure course content meets regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with leadership, instructors, and check airmen to ensure standardization.
• Prepare and maintain accurate, error-free training records and documentation.
• Ensure simulators and other training facilities are in a clean, neat condition.
• Continuously review Company, industry, government, and related publications to stay current on methods, procedures, policies, and regulations.
• Maintain current manuals and publications.

Requirements

• Currently employed by Endeavor as a Seniority List First Officer or Captain.
• Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) License.
• 1 year of experience as PIC or SIC in part 121 Air Carrier Turbojet Operations.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
• Analytical, interpretive, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines.
• Interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with all levels of an organization.
• PC proficient in Microsoft Office software, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of the contents of FAR Parts 61, 91, and 121.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• May be required to wear facial masks, take safety measures, or work remotely as necessary and as dictated by safety standards.
• Can involve long periods of sitting.
• Work in a typical office environment and in full-motion flight simulators.
• Ability to work shifts as scheduled, including additional hours such as evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Requires some physical exertion, including pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting (not in excess of 30 lbs).
• Limited travel and extended hotel stays may be required.
