The First Officer Role

Pilot Eligibility and Role Requirements

To be considered for the First Officer position, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

• A minimum of 2,000 total flying hours accrued on jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) of 20 tonnes or greater. (Excludes time on P3, rotary, single-engine piston, and multi-engine piston aircraft).
• A minimum of 1,000 hours of total flying time.
• A minimum of 150 hours of flying time within the preceding 12 months (on type).
• Possession of a valid ICAO Air Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
• A valid Authority Class 1 Medical certificate, matching the issuing authority of the ATPL.
• Demonstrated ICAO English Language Proficiency (Level 4 or higher).
