Compensation & Benefits

Minimum Salary

First Officers can expect a minimum salary of AED 26,485 (approximately USD 7,217) on a Non-Type Rated basis, not including flight pay.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for a First Officer position with Emirates, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A minimum of 2,000 hours of total flying time on multi-crew jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) of 20 tonnes or greater (excluding P3, rotary, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft).
• A minimum of 1,000 hours of flying experience.
• A minimum of 150 hours flight time on a multi-crew, multi-engine jet aircraft within the last 12 months.
• Possession of a valid ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
• A valid ICAO Class 1 Medical Certificate matching the Authority requirements.
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or above.

More experienced First Officers with 4,000+ hours of flying experience may be eligible for an enhanced salary package.
