Emirates | A330/350 Captain

Emirates is seeking experienced Direct Entry Captains to command its A350 and A380 fleets, based in Dubai. This exciting opportunity is designed for highly motivated and technically proficient pilots ready to take on significant responsibility within a leading international airline.

About the Role

• Commanding Emirates' A350 or A380 Airbus fly-by-wire operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7,000 total flying hours in multi-crew, multi-engine turboprop or turbojet aircraft (operating seat time only; simulator time excluded).
• Operating seat time must be in turboprop and/or turbojet aircraft.
• Simulator time, P3, rotary, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft time are excluded.
• At least 150 hours of recent flying experience (within the past 12 months) as a Captain on Airbus fly-by-wire aircraft.
• Valid ICAO ATPL.
• Valid Authority Class 1 Medical Certificate with no limitations other than visual corrections.
• ICAO English level 5 or above.
• Specific Captain experience on Airbus fly-by-wire aircraft is required, with Airbus FBW excluding the A220.
• A380 Pathway: Requires at least 3,000 PIC hours on Airbus FBW wide-body aircraft (A330, A340, A350, or A380) and current Captain flying experience on an Airbus FBW wide-body.
• A350 Pathway: Requires at least 3,000 PIC hours on any listed Airbus FBW aircraft (A320, A330, A340, A350, or A380) and current Captain flying experience on Airbus FBW aircraft.
• Application must include a CV, passport, ATPL with the type rating for the currently flown aircraft, and a Class 1 medical certificate.
