Sales Demonstration Pilot – Embraer Executive Aircraft
Embraer Executive Aircraft seeks a highly skilled and customer-focused Sales Demonstration Pilot to join our team in Melbourne, Florida. This pivotal role involves showcasing the superior capabilities, performance, safety, and comfort of Embraer aircraft to prospective clients and their representatives at events, meetings, and airshows. The successful candidate will conduct both Executive Demonstrations, emphasizing the cabin experience, and Pilot Demonstrations, highlighting the aircraft's cockpit capabilities. Further responsibilities include participation in production acceptance flights, aircraft deliveries, and entry-into-service support. This is not a traditional point-to-point flying position; rather, it requires a passionate individual with a proven ability to engage clients and build rapport. Location:
This full-time position is based in Melbourne, Florida, requiring relocation within a 1.5-hour drive of Melbourne Orlando International Airport (KMLB). A generous relocation package is provided.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as Pilot in Command for assigned Embraer aircraft types.
- Maintain unwavering accountability for the safety and legal compliance of all assigned flights.
- Execute administrative duties and ensure strict adherence to Embraer's flight operation policies as outlined in the Flight Operations Manual (FOM).
- Collaborate closely with Regional Sales Directors to tailor flight demonstration experiences to meet individual customer needs, ensuring a world-class presentation that effectively contributes to sales efforts.
- Assist clients with new aircraft operational procedures, providing guidance and support with manuals, guides, and relevant forms.
- Ensure operational functionality, pilot safety, and passenger safety.
- Maintain strict regulatory compliance and adherence to product specifications.
- Complete the internal qualification process to progress to Senior Demonstration Pilot.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional customer-facing skills and a demonstrated ability to cultivate strong client relationships.
- Proven experience as a flight instructor or simulator instructor.
- Turbojet type rating.
- Current Medical Certificate (61.58 or equivalent) issued within the last 12 months.
- Recent flight experience (within the past 90 days).
- FAA Commercial Multi-Engine license or Airline Transport Pilot certificate.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship (no visa sponsorship available).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three or more years of experience in corporate aviation.
- Three or more years of experience as Pilot in Command of a business jet.
- Minimum 3,000 total flight hours.
- Minimum 1,000 PIC hours.
- Minimum 500 turbojet hours.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field of study.
- Technical aviation degree or Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
- Current Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII), and Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) certificates.
