Boeing 757 First Officer – Professional Sports Private Carriage

Location: Columbus, Ohio (CMH base). Candidates must reside within a two-hour drive of the base; no relocation provided.

Position Overview

Elevate Jet is seeking a professional and safety-focused First Officer to join our team operating a Boeing 757 in support of National Hockey League (NHL) private carriage operations. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide dedicated air transport services for the Columbus Blue Jackets, operating within a high-performance environment where reliability, discretion, and excellence are expected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate the Boeing 757 in domestic and international operations under 14 CFR 125 private carriage regulations.
  • Execute scheduled team charters with a commitment to on-time performance.
  • Coordinate effectively with dispatch, maintenance, and team logistics personnel.
  • Provide a professional, discreet, and service-oriented experience for all VIP passengers.
  • Maintain strict compliance with all regulatory requirements and company procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Possess an FAA ATP Certificate.
  • Minimum of 1,500 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum of 1,000 hours in the Boeing 757.
  • Previous experience in Part 121, 125, or equivalent airline/military operations.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required medical certification.
  • Hold a valid US passport with at least one year of remaining validity.
  • Ability to pass all required security and background checks.
  • Ability to travel internationally.

Preferred Experience

  • Current or previous type rating in the B757 (training may be provided for qualified candidates).
  • Current within one year in B-757 operations (Part 121 or 125).
  • Previous experience in charter, sports team, or VIP aviation operations.
  • Strong Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills and demonstrated customer-facing professionalism.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Travel is required during the NHL season, with approximately 65 overnights per year.
  • Candidates must be capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Proof of certain vaccinations may be required.
  • Must successfully pass a non-DOT pre-employment drug screening.
