Position Summary
Elevate Jet is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pilot-in-Command (PIC) for our Falcon 7x fleet. The PIC will work collaboratively with the Second-in-Command (SIC) to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. This role demands strict adherence to FAA regulations and Elevate Jet's General Operations Manual. The ideal candidate will be a safety-conscious team player with exceptional leadership skills and an unwavering commitment to superior customer service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Execute safe and punctual flights for private VIP Part 135/91 operations.
- Guarantee meticulous aircraft readiness for all scheduled trips.
- Maintain seamless communication with operations personnel.
- Maintain comprehensive financial and operational records for each flight.
- Cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment that prioritizes teamwork and encourages crew members to strive for excellence.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- FAA Multi-Engine Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Falcon 7x Type Rating is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3,500 hours total flight time is required, with at least 2,000 hours in multi-engine fixed-wing aircraft and 250 hours of instrument flight time.
- Preference will be given to candidates with 250 hours of flight time in type.
- Ability to maintain an FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- A spotless record with no history of FAA violations, accidents, or incidents.
- Valid passport.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to/from Canada as a commercial pilot.
- Compliance with ICAO Annex I - 2.1.10 regarding international commercial air transport operations with multiple pilots.
Education & Experience:
- A college degree is preferred.
- Prior experience operating under FAR 135/91 regulations is highly desirable.
Schedule & Travel:
- This position operates on a rotating schedule, which varies depending on aircraft assignment.
- 100% travel is required for this role.
Miscellaneous:
- This is a full-time, exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
- Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Vaccination for COVID-19 is required.
