The Role: A320 Co-Pilot

easyJet is currently seeking accomplished A320 Type-Rated Co-Pilots to join the team on permanent seasonal contracts, based in the vibrant locations of Alicante, Malaga, and Palma de Mallorca. Operating from the right-hand seat, the successful candidate will be appointed as Second Officer, First Officer, or Senior First Officer, commensurate with their prior flying hours and airline experience.

This pivotal role involves providing essential support to the Captain and flight crew, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving, and leveraging extensive opportunities for professional growth and development. These permanent seasonal contracts ensure continuous employment while operating for nine months annually, aligning with base operational periods. A three-month winter sabbatical is included.

Initial Training Overview

A319/A320/A321 Co-Pilots will undertake a standard easyJet Operator Conversion Course (OCC) upon joining the airline.

Requirements of the Role

For an application to be progressed, candidates must meet the following essential criteria:

• Demonstrated experience as a Commercial Passenger Co-Pilot on A320 family aircraft within the preceding 12 months at the point of application.
• A minimum of 500 flying hours accrued on A320 family aircraft.
• Possession of a valid A320 Type Rating Licence Proficiency Check (LPC) upon commencement of employment.
• Hold an Austrian (ACG) EASA Licence, or be willing and eligible to convert to an ACG EASA Licence prior to easyJet induction.
• Hold an Austrian (ACG) EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate, or be willing and eligible to convert to an ACG EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate prior to easyJet induction.
• Attained a minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4.
• Possession of the unrestricted right to live and work in the EU, with full access across the UK, EEA, and the entire easyJet network.

The Selection Process

The selection process for this pivotal role comprises the following stages:

1. Stage 1: Online Application
2. Stage 2: Online Assessments
3. Stage 3: Application Review
4. Stage 4: Assessment Centre – Candidates who successfully progress through Stages 1-3 will be invited to an easyJet Assessment Centre. This will be conducted at one of easyJet's Simulator Centres and will include both a Non-Technical and a Technical (Simulator) Assessment.
