The Role: Cabin Crew Member

As a Cabin Crew Member at easyJet, this role extends beyond traditional service; it is an opportunity to positively impact passengers' journeys daily. Cabin Crew serve as the face of the easyJet brand, ensuring customers feel safe, informed, and welcomed from take-off to landing. This position is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

Previous aviation experience is not a prerequisite. easyJet places significant emphasis on a candidate's attitude, professionalism, and unwavering passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities and experiences:

  • A minimum of six months' experience in a customer-facing or people-focused role.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and with kindness.
  • The capacity to remain calm under pressure and make informed, safety-focused decisions.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for working as part of a diverse and energetic team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, taking ownership, applying empathy, and consistently going the extra mile to make customer experiences memorable and valued.

Essential Criteria

To meet stringent regulatory and operational requirements for this Cabin Crew position, applicants must fulfill the following:

  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Maintain a height between 5'2" (157.5 cm) and 6'3" (190 cm) without shoes.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a mandatory requirement. For roles based in Amsterdam, proficiency in Dutch is highly advantageous and may be considered essential.
  • Possess a valid passport allowing unrestricted travel across the UK, EEA, and the entire easyJet network.
  • Hold a good standard of education and provide a verifiable five-year activity history.
  • Reside within a 90-minute commuting distance of the chosen base.
  • Have no visible tattoos on the head, face, or neck. Any existing tattoos must be inoffensive.
  • Be comfortable selling items, including alcohol, from the CAFE.SHOP range, which contributes to commission earnings.
  • Be capable of swimming 25 meters unaided, treading water, inflating a life jacket, and climbing into a life raft.
  • Successfully pass an EASA Cabin Crew medical examination and fit securely into a jump seat with a lap belt and shoulder harness.
