The Role: A320 Captain

Operating from the left-hand seat, the A320 Captain is responsible for ensuring a safe and enjoyable flying experience for both crew and customers. This pivotal role involves making strong, decisive judgments, upholding the highest operational standards, and consistently prioritising safety above all else. Captains play a crucial part in easyJet’s mission to make low-cost travel accessible and contribute to its goal of being Europe’s most loved airline.

Initial Training Overview

Upon joining easyJet, A319/A320/A321 Captains will undergo a standard easyJet Operator Conversion Course (OCC).

The Selection Process

The comprehensive selection process ensures easyJet identifies the most suitable candidates:

  1. Online Application: Submission of the initial application form.
  2. Online Assessments: Completion of various online evaluations.
  3. Application Review: A thorough review of the submitted application and assessment results.
  4. Assessment Centre: Successful candidates from Stages 1-3 will be invited to an easyJet Assessment Centre. This will comprise both a Non-Technical and a Technical (Simulator) Assessment conducted at one of easyJet's Simulator Centres.
