Position Details
easyJet is actively seeking A320 Rated Captains to join its team on a permanent, seasonal contract basis, specifically based in Faro.
Initial Training Overview
A319/A320/A321 Captains will undertake a standard easyJet Operator Conversion Course (OCC) upon commencing their employment.
Requirements for the Role
To be considered for this esteemed position, applicants must satisfy the following essential criteria:
- Demonstrated experience as a Commercial Passenger Captain on A320 family aircraft within the last 12 months at the time of application.
- A minimum total flying experience of 4,000 hours.
- A minimum of 1,000 total Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours on A320 family aircraft by the easyJet start date.
- Possession of an Austrian EASA Licence, or a willingness to convert to an Austrian EASA Licence.
- Hold an Austrian EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate, or a willingness to convert to an Austrian EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Achieved a minimum ICAO Level 4 English Language Proficiency.
- Possess the unrestricted right to live and work in Portugal, with seamless access across the UK, EEA, and the entire easyJet network.
The Selection Process
The comprehensive selection process involves multiple stages to identify the most suitable candidates:
- STAGE 1: Online Application submission.
- STAGE 2: Completion of Online Assessments.
- STAGE 3: Application Review by the recruitment team.
- STAGE 4: Assessment Centre – Successful candidates from Stages 1-3 will receive an invitation to attend an easyJet Assessment Centre. This stage comprises both a Non-Technical Assessment and a Technical (Simulator) Assessment, conducted at one of easyJet's Simulator Centres.
