Flight Attendant

Duties and Responsibilities

Participate in preflight briefings, produce necessary reports, perform safety checks, and prepare the aircraft.

Ensure that food, beverages, and supplies are sufficiently stocked and delivered. Manage payment collection and inventory restocking processes.

Conduct passenger greetings, boarding pass verification, and announcements. Assist with bag stowage and provide support to passengers as needed.

Perform safety demonstrations, provide instruction on emergency equipment and exit row requirements, and utilize audio equipment effectively.

Monitor cabin compliance with federal regulations during take-offs and landings, and conduct periodic cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort.

Prepare the aircraft and passengers for landing in accordance with company procedures and federal regulations.

Respond to in-flight emergencies by providing direction, administering first aid, and documenting incidents through official reports.

Complete and submit all required documentation, forms, and administrative paperwork.

Treat all customers and vendors with professional courtesy and respect, and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements

Must possess authorization to work in the United States.

Must hold a valid US Passport that will not expire within the next 6 months.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Education: High school diploma, GED, or higher.

Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.

Must have prior customer service experience; hospitality or retail experience is preferred.

Must have the ability to serve alcoholic beverages.

Must maintain a personal cell phone.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment DOT drug test, comprehensive drug and alcohol screenings, and a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC).

Must possess a valid travel document and have no impediments preventing entry to international destinations, including Canada.

Must reside within 2 hours of Miami, FL Airport.

Must maintain a polished, professional, and conservative appearance; no visible tattoos or body piercings are permitted while on duty.
Physical and Scheduling Requirements

Availability: Must be available at least 18 days per month.

Must be available to attend and successfully complete Initial Flight Attendant training and Operational Experience.

Ability to work variable duty blocks, including extended periods, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

Physical capability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, reach, lift, stretch, and bend for durations of 14 hours or more.

Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
