Flight Attendant - Eastern Air Express

Duties and Responsibilities

Participate in preflight briefings, produce necessary reports, perform safety checks, and prepare the aircraft for operation.

Ensure the cabin is sufficiently stocked with food, beverages, and supplies; collect payments and maintain inventory records.

Conduct passenger briefings, including greeting customers, verifying boarding passes, assisting with luggage stowage, and answering passenger inquiries.

Perform safety demonstrations, provide instruction on emergency equipment and exit row requirements, and operate audio equipment.

Verify customer compliance with federal regulations prior to take-off and landing; conduct periodic cabin checks for passenger comfort.

Follow established procedures and federal regulations to prepare the aircraft for landing.

Respond to in-flight emergencies by providing direction, administering first aid, and documenting incidents.

Complete and submit all required operational documentation.

Maintain courteous and professional interactions with all customers and vendors.
Qualification Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Must hold authorization to work in the United States and a valid US Passport (not expiring within 6 months).

Must be able to travel to Canada and maintain valid documentation for all international destinations without impediment.

Must reside within two hours of Miami, FL Airport.

Must possess fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).

Experience in customer service is required; hospitality or retail experience is preferred.

Must be able to serve alcoholic beverages.

Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds; must be capable of standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and bending for periods of 14 hours or more.

Must be available for a variable schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended periods away from home base (minimum 18 days per month availability).

Must be willing to attend and successfully complete Initial Flight Attendant training and Operational Experience.

Must maintain a polished, professional, and conservative appearance; visible tattoos or body piercings are strictly prohibited while on duty.

Must own and maintain a personal cell phone.

Must successfully pass a pre-employment DOT drug test, alcohol check, and a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC).
