Position Overview
Eastern Air Express is actively recruiting for the role of Flight Attendant. Key Responsibilities
- Participate in pre-flight briefings, generate detailed reports, conduct safety inspections, and prepare aircraft for service.
- Verify and manage the stocking of food, beverages, and other essential supplies, ensuring their appropriate delivery.
- Process payments and maintain accurate inventory records for restocking purposes.
- Deliver passenger announcements, extend welcoming greetings, verify boarding passes, address passenger inquiries, assist with luggage, and provide support to passengers requiring special assistance.
- Conduct safety demonstrations, educate passengers on emergency procedures and exit row seating obligations, and operate audio-visual equipment.
- Monitor cabin aisles to ensure passenger adherence to federal regulations during take-off and landing, and perform regular checks to enhance passenger comfort.
- Execute pre-landing preparations for passengers and the aircraft in accordance with company protocols and federal mandates.
- Respond adeptly to in-flight emergencies by providing critical guidance and aid to passengers, including administering first aid and documenting incidents.
- Complete and submit all necessary forms, reports, and documentation accurately and punctually.
- Exhibit courtesy and respect in all interactions with passengers and vendors.
- Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Possession of a valid US Passport, with at least six (6) months of validity remaining.
- Availability for a minimum of eighteen (18) days per month.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent post-secondary education.
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years.
- Ability to successfully pass pre-employment screenings, including drug and alcohol tests (DOT-regulated), and a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC).
- Must own and maintain a personal mobile phone.
- Fluency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the English language.
- Ability to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Prior customer service experience is mandatory; experience in hospitality or retail is advantageous.
- Ability to travel to Canada.
- Must possess and maintain valid travel documents, ensuring no impediments to entry into all international destinations.
- Physical capacity to lift, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, reach, lift, stretch, and bend for extended periods, potentially up to 14 hours or more per duty period.
- Flexibility to work variable duty schedules, including potential extended periods away from base.
- Willingness and ability to travel away from the home base, encompassing nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Commitment to attend and successfully complete the initial Flight Attendant training program and operational experience requirements.
- Mandatory adherence to a polished, professional, and conservative appearance.
- Strict prohibition of visible tattoos or body piercings while on duty.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively and perform under pressure in a dynamic operational environment.
