Eastern Airlines Seeks Experienced Airline Pilots
Eastern Airlines is seeking highly motivated and experienced pilots to join its team. Successful candidates will contribute to the airline's commitment to safety, efficiency, and exceptional customer service.
Minimum Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 7,000 hours
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 2,000 hours on multi-crew, multi-engine, commercial aircraft
- Turbine Time: 7,000 hours
- Part 121 Experience: 1,000 hours
- Type Rating: Not required (Training Provided)
- License: Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)
- Licensing Authority: Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
- Medical Certificate: Class 1
Additional Requirements:
- Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Valid US Driver's License
- Passport allowing travel worldwide
- Must pass drug and alcohol background checks, pre-employment DOT drug test, and criminal history records check (CHRC).
- Direct Entry Captain candidates must meet FAR 121.436 requirements.
Flight Time Notes:
- Only time in the operating seat of a turboprop and/or turbojet aircraft can be counted towards the 7,000-hour total flight time requirement.
- Previous experience must include wide-body aircraft PIC time, preferably on the Boeing 767 or Boeing 777.
