Overview

EagleView is seeking a Line Pilot, Multi Engine to join the Pilot Operations department, reporting to the Chief Pilot. The incumbent will operate twin-engine, fixed-wing, piston aircraft to complete aerial survey missions. This role requires adherence to FAA regulations (Part 91), company Flight Operations Manuals, and safety standards. Pilots will work on a rotational schedule, operating in single-pilot environments across the U.S. and Canada, requiring extended periods away from home.

Note: EagleView is not currently hiring in AR, CA, CT, DE, IA, KS, ME, MD, MA, MS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OK, RI, SC, WV, or WY.

Responsibilities

  • Execute aerial survey missions in a single-pilot environment using proprietary camera systems.
  • Coordinate survey access with ATC and controlling agencies of Special Use Airspace.
  • Perform comprehensive aircraft preflight checks.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the aircraft and camera systems.
  • Communicate maintenance requirements and ensure safe aircraft operation.
  • Adhere to all operational standards, policies, and safety procedures.
  • Complete daily reporting and communications via an online portal.

Qualifications

  • Commercial Pilot License/Certificate with Multi Engine rating and English proficient endorsement.
  • Minimum Class 2 Medical certificate.
  • 400 hours total flight time.
  • 30 hours Multi Engine time OR 15 hours Multi Engine time with an MEI rating.
  • Valid USA driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Valid passport with at least 12 months of validity remaining.
  • Must hold SFRA, WINGS, and FCC radio licenses (must be obtained prior to start date if not currently held).

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • MEI rating or professional flying experience.
  • 100 hours solo PIC.
  • 75 hours Multi Engine time.
  • Familiarity with Part 91 operating guidelines.
  • Experience with aerial survey/photography or flying Piper aircraft.
  • Strong written, verbal, technical, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, adapt, and work independently.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be capable of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, and sitting for long periods. Must be able to lift or move items up to 50 pounds, hear verbal communications in high-noise environments, and meet FAA visual standards. Pilots must be able to move about the aircraft freely and operate in a confined environment while seated with safety restraints fastened.

Travel and Work Conditions

This position requires up to 100% travel, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Employees must be prepared for extended hours, minimal scheduling control, and potential relocation of aircraft based on operational needs. This is not a Part 107 drone operator position.
