EagleMed Pilot - Fixed-Wing King Air

EagleMed, a Global Medical Response (GMR) company, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Fixed-Wing King Air C90 Pilot to join its team in San Angelo, Texas. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a vital air medical transportation service, providing critical care to patients across a wide service area. The successful candidate will operate within a rigorous safety-conscious environment, collaborating closely with medical professionals and ground support teams.

Compensation and Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,284 to $110,312 annually (base plus 5% geographic modifier), along with a comprehensive benefits package. This includes:

• $15,000 sign-on bonus (upon successful completion of training and checkride)
• $40,000 retention bonus (payable after a six-month waiting period, as part of a three-year program)
• $3,000 relocation assistance
• Company-provided crew housing
• A 7-day on/7-day off work schedule.

Responsibilities:

The Pilot will be responsible for:

• Safe and efficient transport of patients in accordance with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company policies.
• Ensuring aircraft readiness for flight, including pre-flight inspections, maintenance documentation, and adherence to all safety protocols.
• Accurate maintenance of flight logs, load manifests, and other relevant documentation.
• Effective communication and collaboration with medical personnel, dispatch, and ground crews.
• Conducting thorough shift briefings and adhering to established communication protocols.
• Maintaining all required certifications and completing ongoing training requirements.
• Assisting with aircraft preparation, including de-icing and hangar maneuvers, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must possess:

• Commercial Airplane Multi-Engine Land (C-AMEL) rating. ATP certification must be obtained within five years of employment.
• A valid and unexpired driver's license.
• A current FAA Class I or II medical certificate.
• 2,500 total flight hours.
• 1,000 PIC hours.
• 500 cross-country hours.
• 500 multi-engine hours.
• 100 night hours.
• 75 instrument hours (50 actual).

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

This position requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions. The role involves physical demands including standing, walking, climbing, lifting (up to 70 pounds), bending, and potentially assisting with aircraft preparation and movement. Candidates must possess excellent close, distant, peripheral, and depth perception vision, as well as the ability to adjust focus.
