The Opportunity:

EVS is seeking a skilled and experienced Drone Pilot to join our growing team in Eden Prairie, MN. In this role, you will play a critical part in advancing our innovative engineering solutions by utilizing cutting-edge drone technology. You will be responsible for conducting safe and efficient aerial surveys, inspections, and monitoring activities for diverse engineering projects, with a primary focus on renewable energy installations. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing data collection and supporting the efficient design, construction, and maintenance of sustainable infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently execute small Unmanned Aerial System (sUAS) missions across the United States.
• Operate drones and associated sensors/cameras with a high degree of precision and adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain strict compliance with Part 107 FAA regulations and all applicable laws and regulations.
• Develop and meticulously review detailed flight plans to ensure successful mission execution.
• Accurately document all processes and procedures.
• Cultivate and maintain productive working relationships with clients and team members.
• Assume responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of all sUAS equipment and vehicles.
• Demonstrate ownership of your role and actively contribute to the team's overall mission.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with commercial sUAS/drone flight systems.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience utilizing professional-level sUAS systems for project support.
• Strong understanding of land surveying practices.
• Experience with traditional photogrammetric techniques.
• Knowledge and experience with LiDAR and general remote sensing technologies.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
