Position Summary
Executive Jet Management is actively seeking a qualified and experienced Cabin Attendant to serve aboard a Praetor 600 aircraft, strategically based in Wilmington, Delaware (KILG). This integral crew member is solely responsible for ensuring the welfare, comfort, and safety of passengers throughout all phases of flight. This specific account operates under a 3-pilot structure, facilitating approximately 300 hours of Part 91 flights and 150 hours of Retail Charter Part 135 operations.
Crucial Requirement: This is a dedicated, non-commutable base position. The successful candidate must reside no further than a two-hour driving distance from KILG. Relocation assistance may be provided.
Key Responsibilities
The Cabin Attendant executes a critical dual role encompassing both cabin safety compliance and world-class customer service. Responsibilities are conducted under the direction of the assigned Pilot in Command for all scheduled trips.
Safety, Compliance, and Operations
- Coordinates comprehensive preflight activities, ensuring the optimal maintenance status of all emergency equipment and the overall cleanliness of the cabin environment.
- Complies meticulously with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and ensures complete passenger adherence to all regulatory requirements.
- Maintains strict proficiency and currency as a Part 91 and/or Part 91/135 qualified crewmember.
- Conducts thorough emergency and service briefs prior to each flight leg, guaranteeing the cabin is fully secured before taxi.
- Adheres strictly to the General Operations Manual and all company policies, including the Travel & Entertainment Policy for Crewmembers.
- Acts as a steward of safety by continually complying with the company Safety Management System (SMS) program, actively reporting any safety, security, or quality recommendations or non-compliance observations.
First-Class Service and Provisioning
- Provides the highest caliber of customer service to aircraft owners and charter passengers. Greets all passengers warmly and verifies the accuracy of the passenger manifest.
- Creates a first-class, luxury environment through the professional preparation of meals, attending to passenger needs, and meticulous maintenance of an orderly cabin.
- Responsible for the purchasing, stocking, and inventory management of cabin supplies and catering, often sourcing from premium bakeries, markets, and restaurants.
- Manages the proper cleaning and laundering of all cabin linens and serving ware.
- Operates all onboard entertainment systems and equipment, including basic troubleshooting, to enhance the passenger experience.
Required Qualifications (KSAOs)
- A minimum age of 21 years old is required.
- Demonstrated professional customer service experience is mandatory; proven fine dining and culinary meal planning experience is highly preferred.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills.
- Must exhibit a willingness to work irregular and long hours consistent with demanding flight schedules.
- Candidates must successfully meet and complete the EJM Cabin Attendant Training Program.
- Possession of current certification to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and proficiency in the usage of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
- Well-qualified candidates must have completed Cabin Attendant emergency training with Aircare FACTS or Flight Safety International within the past year.
- Demonstrable proficiency with all aircraft emergency equipment and comprehensive knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Thorough knowledge of safe food handling procedures is required.
- Preference will be granted to local candidates who possess established corporate cabin attendant experience.
Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary Range
Cabin Size (Super Mid/Premium): $60,000 - $150,000 USD
