Dornier DO328-100TP Captain / First Officer - Special Operations Missions

About the Role

EASP AIR is seeking ambitious EASA Captains and First Officers for its new European/Asian Coast Guard and ISR projects, specializing in Maritime Patrol missions. This role offers the opportunity to develop into an all-round Special Operations Mission Specialist, performing high-level and low-level maritime patrol and safe air drops at low altitude. Candidates will contribute to the development of a growing company within a highly collegial team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Maritime Patrol missions at various altitudes.
  • Conduct safe air drops at low altitude.
  • Contribute to special operations mission development.
  • Work effectively in small teams at remote locations under pressure.

Candidate Profile

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Current EASA ATPL(A) and a valid EASA FCL Class I Medical Certificate.
  • EASA Type Rating on the DORNIER DO328-100TP.
  • Minimum of 1,500 hours of actual flight time.
  • Minimum of 500 hours Pilot in Command on a twin-engine turbine aircraft.
  • EU Citizenship and residency.
  • Proficiency in the English language (level 6) in both written and spoken communication.
  • Flexible team spirit.
  • Willingness to accept fulltime fixed-term employment contracts only.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Maritime Surveillance and/or ISR experience.
  • Low Level Endorsement.
  • Military or Air Police background.

Additional Information

  • Home Base: Schiphol Airport, The Netherlands.
  • Rotation Schedules: 10/5 days and/or 12/6 days.

Application Process

This is not a standard application process. A detailed explanation of eligibility is required, especially if minimum hours or type rating are not met.

  1. Express interest via the contact form, providing a clear and substantiated explanation of your qualifications for a Special Mission Operations Pilot role.
  2. If successful in the paper selection, an email with application instructions will be sent.
  3. Required application documents include: a Cover Letter, CV and photo, an extended Motivation Letter detailing suitability for Special Mission Operations, and copies of licenses, logbook pages, medical certificate, and any other supporting documentation.
  4. An EU Personal Security Clearance Certificate application is mandatory and will be part of the selection procedure. The relevant EU Member State must be able to issue this certificate within 3 months.
  5. Candidates who were unsuccessful in the past 12 months are not eligible to reapply.
  6. Further stages include a TEAMS meeting, followed by a personal meeting and grading process if successful.

Note: An EU Personal Security Clearance Certificate (PSCC) issued by the applicable National Security Authority is a mandatory requirement.
