Dynamic Aviation is seeking an experienced King Air Captain to join its Sterile Insect Technique (SIT) operations based in Edinburg, Texas. This single-pilot position requires safe and professional operation of the BE90 aircraft, adhering strictly to mission criteria and company standards.
About the Role
The King Air Captain will be responsible for single-pilot operations in the BE90, ensuring safe and professional flight conduct. Key duties include maintaining comprehensive knowledge of destinations, alternates, weather conditions, fuel requirements, navigation aids, and NOTAMs. The role involves pre- and post-flight inspections, effective communication with base management, customers, and the operations center, and accurate digital reporting of flight and maintenance data. The position is based out of Texas.
Requirements
- FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument and Multi-Engine ratings.
- 1,200 hours total flight time.
- 250 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
- 50 hours of night flying.
- 50 hours of instrument time, including a minimum of 5 hours in actual instrument weather conditions.
- 100 hours of flight time within the preceding 12 months.
- 100 hours of multi-engine PIC time (if multi-engine aircraft are utilized).
- Proficiency in operating electronic guidance systems.
- Possession of at least a second-class medical certificate.
- Willingness to relocate to Texas.
- Ability to function effectively as a team member.
Preferred Qualifications
- 25 hours of PIC time in the Beechcraft King Air aircraft, with at least 10 hours logged in the preceding 12 months.
- Spanish language fluency.
- Previous cross-cultural and foreign-language experience.
