QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• FAA Commercial Multi-Engine and Instrument Rating
• Second Class Medical Certificate
• Eligibility for Interagency Pilot Qualification Card (pilot carding process)

FLIGHT EXPERIENCE (Minimums):

• 1,500 hours Total Time
• 1,200 hours PIC (airplane)
• 200 hours PIC Multi-Engine Land (100 hours in last 12 months)
  
• 200 hours PIC in mountainous/low-level terrain (<2,500’ AGL, per 14 CFR 95.11)
  
• 200 hours PIC Night
• 500 hours PIC Cross-Country
• 50 hours PIC actual instrument
  
• 75 hours PIC simulated instrument
• 25 hours PIC in Beechcraft King Air (10 hours in last 12 months)
  
  

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to travel on short notice and adapt quickly to dynamic fire environments
  
• Strong decision-making ability under pressure
  
• Commitment to safety and teamwork in high-tempo operations
