King Air Captain - Wildfire Aviation
Our wildfire aviation team is actively seeking a highly skilled and mission-driven King Air Captain to join its dedicated ranks. This pivotal role involves providing safe, professional, and timely on-demand aerial firefighting operations, primarily utilizing the Beechcraft King Air 200 aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
The King Air Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of aerial firefighting missions, adhering to all regulatory and operational standards. This includes comprehensive pre-flight planning, precise in-flight operations, and thorough post-flight procedures essential for critical wildfire response and aerial support.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Certifications & Ratings:
- Valid FAA Commercial Multi-Engine and Instrument Rating.
- Current Second Class Medical Certificate.
- Eligibility for an Interagency Pilot Qualification Card (pilot carding process) is mandatory.
- Flight Time Requirements:
- Minimum of 1,500 hours Total Time.
- At least 1,200 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) in airplanes.
- A minimum of 200 hours PIC in Multi-Engine Land aircraft, with at least 100 hours accumulated within the last 12 months.
- A strong background of 200 hours PIC experience in challenging mountainous or low-level terrain operations (below 2,500’ AGL, as defined by 14 CFR 95.11).
