Requirements

• Possession of an appropriate FAA flight instructor certificate for the instruction to be provided.
• A minimum of 350 hours of total flight time.
• Professional communication skills.
• Dependable availability.

• Ability to commute to Chino Airport for scheduled instruction.

Qualifications

• FAA flight instructor certificate appropriate to the instruction provided.
• Minimum 350 hours total flight time.
• Preferred: CFII or MEI privileges.
• Preferred: Experience with Piper PA-28, Piper PA-23, or Mooney aircraft.
• Preferred: Availability for a consistent student schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide structured flight and ground instruction to students.
• Prepare students for stage checks, knowledge tests, practical tests, and safe solo flights.
• Maintain accurate training records and endorsements.
• Conduct preflight briefings and postflight reviews.
• Coordinate professionally with dispatch, maintenance, and fellow instructors.
