DuBois Aviation seeks experienced Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) and Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) to deliver advanced flight training at Chino Airport, Chino, California. This on-site role involves providing comprehensive flight and ground instruction to students pursuing instrument, commercial, and multi-engine ratings.

About the Role

The CFII and MEI Instructor is responsible for educating students in critical areas such as aeronautical decision-making, instrument procedures, and practical-test readiness. Key duties include maintaining accurate training records, conducting thorough pre-flight briefings and post-flight reviews, and fostering professional collaboration with dispatch, maintenance, and fellow instructors. Instructors can anticipate accumulating significant flight hours annually, with specific figures varying based on student demand, availability, weather, and scheduling. Compensation, availability, and scheduling will be discussed individually with qualified candidates.

Requirements

• Valid FAA flight instructor certificate with the appropriate privileges for the instruction provided.
• Minimum of 350 hours of total flight time.
• Demonstrated professional communication skills and dependable availability.
• A strong commitment to a safety-first approach in all aspects of instruction.
• Ability to commute to Chino Airport for scheduled flight and ground instruction duties.
• Piper PA-23 experience is required for multi-engine instruction applicants.
• Piper PA-28 or Mooney experience is preferred for instrument and commercial instruction roles.

Qualifications

• Current CFII privileges are highly preferred.
• Current MEI privileges are highly preferred.
