Job Summary

The Walt Disney Company (Corporate) is seeking an experienced Pilot Captain to join the Disney Aviation Group. This role involves operating corporate aircraft to provide safe and efficient worldwide transportation, supporting the company's business units in maintaining a competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Pilot-in-Command for worldwide flight operations.
  • Operate company aircraft safely, ensuring full compliance with domestic and international aviation laws, regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Assess and manage operational risks.
  • Provide timely and secure transportation to support business unit objectives.
  • Execute assigned administrative duties and projects.
  • Optimize the use of company resources and materials to increase flight operation efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Jet Captain with an FAR Part 91 or 135 operator.
  • Current and qualified as a Pilot-in-Command in a multi-engine business jet.
  • Total flight time of at least 4,000 hours.
  • Minimum of 2,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command in multi-engine turbojet aircraft.
  • Current FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with a multi-engine rating and at least one business jet type rating.
  • Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Additional Qualifications

  • International operational experience.
  • Proficiency with glass-cockpit systems.
  • Experience operating Gulfstream aircraft.
  • Proficiency with general computer software and hardware.
  • Foreign language skills are considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

The hiring range for this position in California is $247,900 to $332,400 per year. Actual base pay will be determined based on internal equity, geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Eligible candidates may receive a bonus and/or long-term incentive units, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package including medical and financial programs.
