Key Requirements for Aviation Professionals
Candidates are expected to meet a comprehensive set of qualifications, demonstrating a strong foundation in aviation operations and specialized experience.
Flight Experience and Qualifications:
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: A minimum of 1500 hours of PIC time is required.
- Flight Time Specifics: This PIC time must be accumulated on Part 25 aircraft, with a specific inclusion of 200 hours dedicated to flight testing. Previous experience with regional turboprop aircraft is highly valued.
- License Requirements: A Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Instrument Rating (IR) is mandatory.
- Eligible License Holders: Applications are welcomed from holders of EASA licenses.
- Medical Certification: A valid Class 1 medical certificate is essential.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP): A minimum ICAO ELP level of 4 is required.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- An engineering degree in a STEM subject is advantageous.
- Graduation from an accredited Test Pilot School is a significant asset.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in development flight testing is preferred.
- Possession of an EASA CPL/IR or ATPL with Test Category I or II qualification is beneficial.
- Proficiency in the German language is considered a plus.
- Experience with EASA Certification of Value Engineering (CVE) is also an advantage.
