DesertJet | Captain
Desert Jet is seeking qualified Pilot in Command candidates for our Citation Sovereign aircraft based in Thermal, CA for Part 135 flight operations. This position offers home basing (within a 1 hour drive to a major airport,) a set schedule, and a competitive salary that is based on experience. Type rating is preferred, but not required.
Position Summary
The Pilot In Command (PIC) reports directly to the Chief Pilot. The PIC in prepares and ensures the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- FAA ATP
- FAA Class 1 Medical certificate
- Total Time- 3000 hours
- Total PIC- 1500 hours
- Strong Customer Service and Communication Skills
- Proactive decision making skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- No accidents, incidents, or violations
Preferred qualifications include:
- Total Time on Type- 250 hours-Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation related field
- 5 years of Part 135 flying experience
- FAA Type rating in the CE-680
