Pilot Learner Experience and Strategy Co-Op (Spring 2025)
Delta Air Lines, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and data-driven Co-Op to join the Training Analytics team in Atlanta, Georgia. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage data analysis and strategic thinking to directly impact the learning experience of Delta's 16,000+ pilots.
Key Responsibilities:
The Co-Op will play a crucial role in shaping the future of pilot training at Delta by:
- Championing Learner Insights: Conducting research and analyzing learner feedback to deeply understand the pilot training experience and advocate for their needs before, during, and after training. This includes tracking performance against feedback to identify potential gaps in training programs.
- Driving Learner Analytics: Performing ad hoc analysis to support curriculum changes and the development of new training programs. This involves creating cross-divisional reports to measure training performance, refreshing existing dashboards, and developing new visualizations. The Co-Op will also contribute to the expansion of topic modeling programs for increased accuracy and the identification of emerging themes.
- Shaping Learner Experience Strategy: Supporting the development of long-term strategies for the pilot training journey. This encompasses mapping touchpoints, expanding feedback channels, standardizing surveys, and implementing new data collection methods.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Demonstrated interest in data analysis and coding, preferably SQL.
- Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for all levels of an organization.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Current enrollment in a full-time bachelor's degree program in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
- Unwavering commitment to safety and security for oneself, others, and personal data.

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age with authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with statistical analysis and modeling techniques (e.g., linear regression, segmentation, predictive modeling, operations research, machine learning).
- Proficiency in coding languages such as SQL, SAS, C, Python, VBA, or R.
- Coursework in statistics, data science, computer science, operations research, or marketing.
