Delta Air Lines is seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our Flight Operations team as a Pilot Scheduler. This pivotal role ensures the smooth operation of our flight schedule by creating, managing, and adjusting pilot and flight crew schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
The Pilot Scheduler plays a critical part in ensuring all Delta flights are adequately staffed with qualified pilots. This involves:
- Schedule Coordination: Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for pilots and flight crews, maximizing coverage for all flights.
- Compliance: Ensure all schedules adhere to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), company policies, and crew rest requirements.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between pilots, flight crews, and operations management, providing timely communication regarding schedule updates and changes.
- Real-Time Adjustments: Monitor flight operations and adapt schedules as needed to address delays, cancellations, or unforeseen operational disruptions.
- Data Entry: Maintain meticulous records of pilot hours, flight schedules, and any deviations from the planned schedule.
- Problem Solving: Resolve scheduling conflicts, addressing last-minute changes, emergencies, crew shortages, or unexpected maintenance situations.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on crew scheduling, duty hours, and regulatory compliance matters.
Working Environment:
This position is based in the dynamic Delta Air Lines Operations Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The Pilot Scheduler should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires quick decision-making and the ability to adapt to the ever-changing nature of the airline industry.

Minimum Qualifications:
