How you’ll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
Delta Flight Operations is seeking a Program Leader to join the EFB (Pilot iPad) Software Team, providing program coordination and helping lead change management efforts for the iPad apps used by Delta pilots. The Program Leader will be responsible for monitoring software updates and coordinating with workgroups, cross-divisional stakeholders, regulators, and external vendors on program assessments and enhancements. This individual will also help refine and execute the EFB program strategy as we seek to provide a best-in-class user experience for Delta pilots.
+ Provide project management for new and existing EFB apps and initiatives, including coordination of recurring EFB updates
+ Support the EFB Training Program, including quarterly development of pilot training modules and other associated training content
+ Ensure alignment of apps with the EFB strategy and best practices, driving a quality and streamlined tool for pilots
+ Serve as joint owner for designated EFB Apps, coordinating with internal stakeholders, technical pilots, and external vendors
+ Work with the QA/Compliance team to ensure EFB App updates and changes meet FAA requirements for stability and reliability
+ Collaborate with divisional stakeholders to maintain robust program feedback channels, generating monthly reports with actionable insights
+ Facilitate necessary meetings and team working groups
+ Partner with leaders and SMEs on the development of pilot communications, maintaining business continuity plans, and changes to policies and procedures
+ Coordinate with external EFB support vendor to communicate upcoming changes and keep supporting materials accurate and up to date
+ Maintain a working relationship with other airlines and participate in industry working groups on EFB topics
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management, Business, or equivalent work experience
+ At least 3 years of related work experience including software management or delivery, project management, or continuous improvement
+ Ability to prepare executive level decks and presentations
+ Desire to think strategically, aligning tactical projects and initiatives with the EFB Program Strategy and long-term Flight Operations goals
+ Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills; ability to seek input, willingness to ask questions, and confidence to drive the right solution
+ Strong written and oral communication skills, including ability to present technical material concisely to a broad audience
+ Performing satisfactorily in current position
+ Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all processes and procedures
+ Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
+ Previous role as a business analyst
+ Background in aviation technology
+ Agile work experience, including use of the Digital.ai Agility tool
+ Project management certifications
+ Familiar with iOS development
+ Knowledge of the Apple platform and VMware AirWatch Mobile Device Management (MDM)
