Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this position:
- Total Flight Time: A minimum of 1500 hours total flight time is required.
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: A minimum of 250 hours of PIC time is mandatory.
- Multi-Engine Time: Applicants must have at least 50 hours of multi-engine flight time.
- Type Rating: A type rating is not required at the time of application, as training will be provided by the airline.
- PIC/SIC Time: Candidates must have at least 250 hours of PIC or Second-in-Command (SIC) time, as defined by 14 CFR 61.159(a)(5) in an airplane category. During the evaluation of flight time, emphasis will be placed on quality, quantity, recency, and verifiability of training; complexity of the aircraft flown; types of flight operations; and hours flown as PIC in turbine-powered aircraft.
- License: Must possess an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) written examination certificate.
- Licensing Authority: The ATP certification must be from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
- Medical Certificate: A current FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate is required.
- COVID-19 Vaccination: Candidates must be vaccinated against COVID-19 where permitted by applicable law.
- Visa Sponsorship: Please note that visa sponsorship is not provided for this position.
- ATP Requirements: Must fulfill all aeronautical experience requirements for an ATP, airplane category rating, as stipulated in 14 CFR 61.159.
- Travel Documents: Must possess a current passport or other travel documents that enable free exit from and re-entry into the United States (multiple re-entry status), and be legally eligible to work in the U.S. with proper working documentation.
- FCC Radiotelephone Permit: A valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit is required.
- Pre-employment Drug Test: Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test as mandated by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
- Yellow Fever Vaccination: Must possess an International Certificate of Vaccination (Yellow Card) for Yellow Fever before starting indoctrination training, unless a legitimate medical or other limited reason for waiver exists.
- Background Check: Will be required to successfully complete a TSA-required fingerprint-based Criminal History Records Check and a comprehensive Delta background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Turbine Time: 1,000 hours of fixed-wing turbine time is preferred, with a minimum of 500 turbine hours in a non-powered lift airplane.
