Job Summary:
The Senior Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Dassault Falcon Jet (DFJ) aircraft on flights when assigned as Pilot in Command (PIC).
Principal Duties:
- Acts as PIC on worldwide executive and pilot demonstration flights when assigned.
- Acts as PIC on worldwide customer support flights and Jump Seat Support flights when assigned.
- Acts as PIC on Ferry Flights of green Falcons from Bordeaux to Little Rock when assigned.
- Acts as PIC on formation and photo flights.
- Acts as Lead PIC on multi-plane assignments including air shows and formation photo ops.
- Ensures that all items necessary for safe, efficient flight are accomplished through personal execution or crew delegation.
- Maintains responsibility for the safety and security of the aircraft, crew, and passengers on all designated PIC flights.
- Upholds responsibility for the quality of all demonstration flights for which they are designated PIC.
- Ensures passenger identification and adherence to all mandates of DFJ Security Protocol.
Non-Principal Duties:
- Attends professional meetings and conferences as directed.
- Performs collateral duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot of Operations, Chief Pilot of Technical, or Director of Flight Operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
- Current First Class FAA Medical Certificate.
- Type Ratings in all current production Falcons.
- Eight (8) years of experience in corporate aviation.
- One (1) year of experience as Level 3 Captain.
- Five (5) years of experience in DFJ Flight Operations, Teterboro.
- One thousand (1000) hours in current production Falcon aircraft.
- Eight hundred (800) hours as a flight crew member in international flying.
- International experience as SIC on DFJ flight assignments.
- Successful completion of International Operations course.
- Thorough understanding of relevant Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Flight Instructor Certificate including Multi Engine and Instrument.
- Formation experience with DFJ Senior Captain.
- Recommendation by Chief Pilot of Operations and approval by Director of Flight Operations based on periodic evaluations and personal observation.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Type Ratings in out-of-production Falcons.
- Military Flight Training including formation training.
Working Conditions:
- Flexible work days and hours are required to accommodate the operational needs of the Flight Department.
- Travel is required, occasionally for extended periods of time.
