Job Summary

The Human Resources Specialist will assume a key role, actively participating in a broad spectrum of HR functions within the fast-paced and highly regulated aviation environment. This position encompasses critical responsibilities such as assisting with comprehensive recruitment processes, adeptly managing employee relations, meticulously administering HR policies, and ensuring unwavering compliance, all while actively contributing to the establishment of a supportive and highly efficient work environment for the airline's valued staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists in the full recruitment lifecycle, encompassing talent attraction, meticulous screening, and seamless onboarding of new aviation professionals.
• Supports robust employee relations, ensuring a consistently positive and productive work environment that aligns with core company values.
• Administers HR policies and procedures with precision, ensuring strict compliance with local labor laws and industry-specific aviation regulations.
• Manages comprehensive employee data and maintains accurate, highly confidential HR records and sophisticated HR information systems.
• Contributes effectively to strategic HR initiatives focused on employee development, performance management, and talent retention within the competitive airline sector.
• Acts as a primary and trusted point of contact for all employee inquiries pertaining to HR matters, providing timely, accurate, and empathetic information.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in a Human Resources role, with a strong preference for candidates from the aviation industry or a similarly regulated environment.
• A strong understanding of HR principles, industry best practices, and comprehensive Cypriot labor legislation.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, which are crucial for engaging with a diverse and international workforce.
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
• Proficiency in HR software applications and the full Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field is considered highly desirable.
