Cutter Aviation | Pilatus PC12 SET Captain

Cutter Aviation is seeking a qualified Pilot-in-Command (PIC) for a Pilatus PC-12 based in Phoenix, AZ. This Captain role will conduct single-pilot operations, supporting owner travel and Part 135 on-demand charter flights. The PIC will serve as a primary representative of Cutter Aviation, ensuring world-class customer service and operational excellence.

About the Role

• Pilot the Pilatus PC-12 as a single pilot for owner travel and Part 91 and Part 135 on-demand charter operations.
• Maintain an uncompromising commitment to safety and world-class service.
• Provide world-class customer service and liaise with Cutter Flight Management on all aspects of aircraft operations.
• Represent Cutter Aviation to aircraft owners, operators, business partners, and the broader business aviation community.
• Be available 24/7 year-round, adapting to rotating schedules and short-notice callouts.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable FAA regulations.
• Complete administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Operations and Chief Pilot.

Requirements

• Commercial Pilot Certificate
• Instrument Rating
• Current First-Class Medical Certificate or ability to obtain one.
• No accidents, incidents, or sanctions in the past five years.
• Knowledge of general aviation aircraft, their service requirements, and the needs of crews and passengers.
• Ability to work independently, train a Second-in-Command (SIC) pilot, assist customers, and function as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and mannerisms.
• Ability to develop a friendly rapport.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong multitasking ability.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Pass a drug-screening test and background check.
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate is preferred.
• Previous turbojet type-rating and/or turboprop experience is preferred.
• Preferred PC-12 qualifications: Multi-Engine Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, 1,200 total flight hours, 500 cross-country hours, 100 night hours, and 75 instrument hours (including 50 hours in actual instrument flight).
• Previous on-demand charter experience is preferred.
• Previous Flight Safety International (FSI) or Simuflite training is preferred.
