The Impact of this Role
As a Captain at Corporate Wings, the individual embodies the company's commitment to providing technically accurate and safe transportation, while also delivering a world-class service experience for all passengers. This role requires seamless transitions from a professional aviator to an in-flight service provider, ensuring a concierge-level service experience for clients. This is a dedicated crew position within a two-pilot team, flying the same Learjet 75. The Captain will support a KPCW-based Part 91 client, adhering to an on-demand schedule operating approximately 325 hours annually.
Overview of Responsibilities
- Ensuring the safe and efficient execution of assigned flight schedules, strictly adhering to all regulatory and manufacturer's guidelines.
- Personally welcoming and engaging with passengers pre-flight, providing detailed briefings on the trip, confirming itineraries, offering weather updates, and explaining any changes.
- Serving as a dedicated liaison between passengers and Corporate Wings throughout the entire journey, from arrival at the FBO to safe departure from the final destination FBO.
- Delivering impeccable in-flight service, including the responsible handling of alcohol, catering service, and meticulous loading and stowing of all baggage.
- Upholding the cabin's integrity by performing thorough cleaning, organization, and stocking procedures before each trip.
- Flexibly undertaking additional responsibilities as assigned based on specific operational requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Must reside within two hours of KPCW. (Required)
- Possession of an FAA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATP) license. (Required)
- A minimum of 3,000 total flight hours, of which 1,500 hours must be as Pilot in Command (PIC). (Required)
- Possession of a First Class Medical certificate with unrestricted ability to travel worldwide. (Required)
- Current LR75 type rating is highly preferred.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) or Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license is an advantage.
- Ability to work varying hours including day and night, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated ability to manage rest effectively to always be prepared for flight duty during their tour.
- Service-oriented with a neat, well-groomed appearance and a demonstrated ability to make a positive impression, including a strong capability to effectively interact with passengers.
- Ability to make quick and accurate decisions while paying close attention to detail, both technically and from a passenger-service perspective.
