Corporate Wings, a distinguished boutique-style aircraft management company and the inaugural member of the Directional Aviation Portfolio, seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Learjet 75 Captain to join its dynamic team. With over 40 years of experience and a reputation for excellence, Corporate Wings expertly manages a fleet of over 20 aircraft with a dedicated team of over 100 aviation professionals positioned across the United States. The company's Management Headquarters is located at Cuyahoga County Airport in Richmond Heights, Ohio.
As a Captain at Corporate Wings, this individual serves as the embodiment of the company's commitment to providing technically accurate and safe transportation while delivering a world-class service experience for all passengers. The role requires seamlessly transitioning between the responsibilities of a professional aviator and an in-flight service provider, ensuring a concierge-level experience.
This is a home-based position supporting a fleet of three (3) Learjet 75 aircraft. The Captain will be part of a team of thirteen (13) pilots operating on an 8-day on, 6-day off schedule to support Part 135 on-demand operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the safe and efficient execution of assigned flight schedules, strictly adhering to all regulatory and manufacturer's guidelines.
- Personally welcoming and engaging with passengers pre-flight, providing detailed briefings on the trip, confirming itineraries, offering weather updates, and explaining any changes.
- Serving as a dedicated liaison between passengers and Corporate Wings throughout the entire journey, from arrival at the FBO to safe departure from the final destination FBO.
- Delivering impeccable in-flight service, including the responsible handling of alcohol, catering service, and meticulous loading and stowing of all baggage.
- Upholding the cabin's integrity by performing thorough cleaning, organization, and stocking procedures before each trip.
- Flexibly undertaking additional responsibilities as assigned based on specific assignments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must reside within 2 hours of a major metropolitan area. (Required)
- Holds a valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATP). (Required)
- Possesses a minimum of 3,000 total flight hours, with at least 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC). (Required)
- Maintains a First Class Medical certificate with unrestricted ability to travel worldwide. (Required)
- Holds a Learjet 75 (LR75) type rating.
- Holds an FAA Airframe & Powerplant or Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license (desirable).
- Ability to work varying hours including day and night; weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to manage rest effectively to always be prepared for flight duty during their tour.
- Demonstrates a service-oriented approach with a neat, well-groomed appearance and the ability to make a positive impression through effective interaction with passengers.
- Proven ability to make quick and accurate decisions while paying close attention to detail, both technically and from a passenger-service perspective.
