About the Role
The Flight Attendant is responsible for the safety, comfort, and well-being of passengers, delivering a high level of customer service. Key duties include maintaining cabin safety, conducting safety demonstrations, responding to emergencies, and communicating effectively with passengers and crew. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
Key Responsibilities

Perform duties in the aircraft environment in compliance with FAA regulations and company policies.

Prioritize safety and passenger comfort on every flight.

Deliver exemplary customer service.

Assist with luggage lifting and stowing.

Provide assistance to passengers requiring additional support.

Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages.

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

Respond effectively in emergency situations, including evacuations and providing emergency medical assistance.

Ensure passenger and aircraft compliance with safety, security, and operational standards.

Conduct safety demonstrations, announcements, and passenger instructions clearly.

Complete required reports and documentation accurately.

Retrieve and store items in overhead bins.

Operate and secure aircraft doors.

Push and pull food and beverage carts.

Perform tasks involving walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.

Operate galley/cabin service equipment and in-flight entertainment systems.

Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the cabin, galley, and lavatories.

Adhere to all safety-conscious behaviors in daily operations.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements

Minimum age: 23 years.

High school diploma or GED required.
-
Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and valid passport.

Authorized to work in the United States and able to travel internationally.

Fluent in English (bilingual skills preferred but not required).

Successful completion of Contour’s four-week Flight Attendant Initial Training Program.

Ability to work variable schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and duty periods up to 16 hours.

Must live within one (1) hour of assigned domicile.

Able to lift 75 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
