About the Role

Contour Airlines is seeking a dedicated Flight Attendant to join its team in [Location - if specified, otherwise omit or generalize]. This full-time position focuses on ensuring passenger safety and comfort, adhering strictly to FAA regulations and company protocols. The Flight Attendant will maintain cabin standards, conduct safety briefings, manage in-flight situations, and provide exceptional customer service.

Summary of Duties

  • Ensure passenger safety, comfort, and well-being in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct safety demonstrations and respond effectively to in-flight emergencies.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with passengers and crew members.
  • Maintain cabin safety and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages.
  • Assist passengers with luggage and attend to individuals requiring special assistance.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.
  • Manage time effectively to complete all assigned duties and maintain punctuality.
  • Accurately complete all required documentation and reports.
  • Restock the galley and ensure inventory levels are maintained.
  • Operate galley and cabin service equipment, and in-flight entertainment systems.
  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Adhere to all safety-conscious behaviors and operational procedures.
  • Willingness to open emergency exits and close aircraft doors.
  • Push and pull beverage/food carts as required.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 23 years of age.
  • Authorized to work in the United States and travel to and from the United States.
  • Three (3) years of corporate Cabin Attendant experience or prior Flight Attendant experience.
  • Possession of a valid passport.
  • Ability to pass a DOT required pre-employment drug screen and subsequent random testing.
  • Ability to pass a 10-year work history review, criminal history record check, and fingerprint checks.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Ability to successfully complete Contour's four (4) week Flight Attendant Initial Training Program and Initial Operating Experience.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
  • Must reside within a one (1) hour commute of the assigned base.
  • Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.

  • Well-developed people skills with the ability to work with diverse personalities.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
