Contour Airlines, a well-established aviation services provider, seeks a dedicated and customer-focused individual for a full-time Flight Attendant position based in Phoenix, Arizona (PHX). This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $34,000.00 to $42,564.91 annually, with potential for pay incentives. The Flight Attendant will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers, providing exceptional customer service, and upholding all established standards, policies, and regulations, including Federal Aviation Administration guidelines. Essential duties include performing work duties in an aircraft environment, assisting with luggage, attending to special needs passengers, preparing and serving meals and beverages, and responding effectively during emergency situations. Furthermore, the candidate will be required to maintain a professional appearance, complete required paperwork and detailed reports, and ensure the aircraft is in full compliance with regulations and safety measures.

This position requires the ability to lift and stow luggage, and to push or pull heavy carts. The role also entails frequent walking, bending to ankle level, and reaching above shoulder level, including inside overhead bins, with possible exposure to peanuts, pets and other allergens. The ability to open emergency exits and close aircraft doors weighing up to 60 pounds is also necessary. The candidate must be comfortable using all galley/cabin service equipment and in-flight entertainment systems.

Qualified candidates must be at least 23 years of age, possess a high school diploma or GED certificate, and be authorized to work in the United States. A valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and a valid passport are also required. Furthermore, applicants must demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English, pass a DOT-required pre-employment drug screen, a 10-year work history review, and submit to criminal background and fingerprint checks. The candidate must successfully complete Contour's four-week Flight Attendant Initial Training Program. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays with variable hours, including up to a 16-hour duty day, is essential. Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are a must, along with a customer-oriented mindset. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, while managing multiple priorities. The candidate must reside within one hour of the domicile.
