As the company continues its rapid growth, an exciting opportunity has emerged for a First Officer to join the Flight Operations Department, operating Embraer Regional Jet 135/145 (ERJ) aircraft.

Role Summary

The First Officer position requires a dedicated team player who seeks excellence in every aspect of performance. The successful candidate will demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism and leadership while maintaining a commitment to safe, reliable operations within a Part 135 On-Demand environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize safety above all other operational considerations.
  • Operate aircraft in strict compliance with Part 135 On-Demand regulations and Company manuals.
  • Execute all assigned duties in accordance with established Company policies.
  • Conduct comprehensive preflight planning and prepare detailed flight plans.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all passengers.
  • Maintain aircraft cleanliness and readiness to ensure passenger comfort and safety.
  • Adhere to professional appearance and uniform standards.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by station leadership or Company management.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Hold a current passport and a current First-Class Medical certificate (to be verified during the interview).
  • Hold a Commercial Multi-engine Land License with an Instrument Airplane Rating.
  • Hold an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) and demonstrate the ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and capable of international travel.
  • Maintain a residence that allows for reporting to work within 120 minutes of a dispatch call during assigned duty periods.
  • Successfully pass a 10-year work history review, criminal history records check, reference check, and national drivers record check.
  • Submit to and pass a DOT-required pre-employment drug screen, with ongoing compliance in FAA and Company mandated random testing.
  • Possess polished interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities.
  • Maintain high attention to detail and remain self-motivated under stressful situations and tight time constraints.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to routinely lift 75 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • No previous aviation-related accidents or incidents.

Flight Time Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Total Time: 500 hours
  • Multi-Engine: 25 hours

Preferred Qualifications

  • Total Time: 750 hours
  • Multi-Engine: 50 hours
  • No more than two check ride failures.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting annual salary for this position is $36,000.00. Based on scheduling and specific thresholds, employees are eligible for additional pay incentives for trips worked or assigned beyond the standard salary. Comprehensive benefits for full-time employees include:

  • Health, vision, and dental insurance, plus short/long-term disability and voluntary life insurance (effective the first day of the month following the hire date).
  • 401(k) Savings Plan with a Company matching contribution of up to 6%, eligible the first day of the month following the hire date.
  • Paid sick leave accrual of up to 56 hours per year, with a rollover bank of up to 480 hours.
  • Vested vacation hours available on January 1st following the hire date.
  • Non-Revenue/Space Available (NRSA) travel privileges on Contour upon hire, with access to MyID Travel after six months of service.
  • Eligibility for various leaves of absence, including medical, non-medical family care, maternity, paternity, and personal leave.
