First Officer - Embraer Regional Jet (ERJ)

Contour, a long-established aviation services company, is seeking professional and safety-focused pilots for a First Officer position in our Flight Operations Department, specifically for our Embraer Regional Jet 135/145 (ERJ) fleet. Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize safety as the primary operational objective.
  • Operate aircraft in compliance with Part 135 On-Demand regulations.
  • Execute all assigned duties in accordance with Company policies and manuals.
  • Conduct comprehensive preflight planning and prepare flight plans.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all passengers.
  • Ensure aircraft cleanliness and readiness to maintain passenger comfort and safety standards.
  • Adhere to all uniform and professional appearance requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by station leadership or company management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Current passport.
  • Current first-class medical certificate (verified at the time of interview).
  • Commercial, multi-engine land license with instrument airplane rating.
  • English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE); ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Authorized to work in the United States with the ability to travel internationally.
  • Ability to pass a 10-year work history review, criminal history records check, reference check, and national driver’s record check.
  • No excessive check ride failures (no more than 2 preferred).
  • Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen and submit to FAA/Company-mandated random drug and alcohol testing.
  • No previous aviation-related accidents or incidents.
  • Residency within 120 minutes of the assigned domicile to ensure timely reporting.
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs. routinely with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Flexibility to work a schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Polished interpersonal skills, strong leadership, organizational abilities, and a positive, team-oriented mindset.

Flight Time Requirements

  • Total Time: 500 hours required (750 hours preferred).
  • Multi-Engine: 25 hours required (50 hours preferred).

Compensation and Benefits

The starting annual salary for this position is $36,000.00, with eligibility for additional pay incentives based on schedule and trips worked. Full-time benefits include:

  • 401(k) Savings Plan: Eligible for company matching up to 6%.
  • Paid Sick Leave: Accrual of up to 56 hours annually, with rollover up to 480 hours.
  • Vested Vacation Hours: Available annually in accordance with company policy.
  • Travel Privileges: NRSA travel on Contour upon hire; MyID Travel access after 6 months.
  • Leave of Absence: Includes medical, family care, maternity/paternity, and personal leave.
