Job Summary
The First Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of all flight operations, adhering strictly to FAA regulations, company manuals, and policies. Key duties include preflight planning, flight execution, exceptional passenger service, and maintaining aircraft readiness. This position demands a proactive approach to safety, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively in dynamic environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Prioritize safety above all operational considerations.

Operate aircraft in strict accordance with published schedules and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.

Execute all assigned responsibilities in compliance with Company manuals and established policies.

Conduct thorough preflight planning and prepare accurate flight plans.

Provide outstanding customer service to all passengers.

Ensure aircraft are clean, fully equipped, and meet all required safety provisions.

Maintain a professional appearance in line with the Company's uniform policy.

Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications

Minimum age of 18 years.

Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Current passport required.

Commercial pilot certificate with multi-engine land rating and instrument airplane rating.

Valid First-Class Medical Certificate (to be verified during the interview process).

Authorization to work in the United States and eligibility for international travel.

Fluency in English, supported by an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE).

Successful completion of a 10-year work history review, criminal history records check, reference check, and national driver’s record check.

Absence of excessive check ride failures.

Successful completion of a DOT-required pre-employment drug screen and ongoing participation in FAA/Company random drug and alcohol testing programs.

Strong interpersonal, leadership, and organizational proficiencies.

A professional demeanor coupled with a positive, customer-oriented mindset.

Capacity to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-stress situations under demanding time constraints.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Residence within a 120-minute commute of the assigned base during duty periods.

No prior aviation-related accidents or incidents.

Ability to work safely and in compliance with OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations.
Flight Time Requirements

Total Time: Minimum of 500 hours; 1000 hours recommended.

Multi-Engine Time: Minimum of 25 hours; 100 hours recommended.
Compensation and Benefits

Starting annual salary of $36,000, with performance-based annual increases up to $44,959.07.

Pay incentives available for additional trips worked or assigned (details available in Scheduled Pilot Work Rules).
