First Officer - Citation XL/XLS Fleet
Contour Airlines, a long-established aviation services company, is seeking experienced, professional, and safety-oriented pilots to join our growing Flight Operations team. Key Responsibilities

Prioritize safety in all operations.

Comply with all schedules and directives governing aircraft operation in Part 135 On Demand services.

Perform assigned duties in accordance with company manuals, memos, and policies.

Conduct diligent preflight planning and prepare flight plans.

Deliver exceptional customer service to passengers.
-
Ensure the aircraft is clean, prepared for flight, and fully stocked with necessary provisions.

Adhere to all company uniform and appearance policies.
-
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Required Flight Experience
-
Airman Certificate: Commercial/ME
-
Ratings: SIC Type Rating
-
Medical Certificate: First-Class
-
Total Flight Time: 1,200 hours
-
Pilot in Command: 250 hours
-
Multi Engine Land: 25 hours
-
Instrument: 75 hours
-
Safety Record: No excessive check ride failures and no previous aviation-related accidents or incidents.
Qualifications
-
Minimum 18 years of age.
-
Legally authorized to work in the United States and able to travel internationally without restriction.

Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and a current, valid passport.

Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking); Spanish proficiency is considered an asset.

Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
-
Polished interpersonal skills with a positive, customer-focused attitude.
-
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
-
Capable of lifting 75 lbs. routinely, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and irregular shifts.

Must pass a DOT-required pre-employment drug screening and consent to FAA and company-mandated random drug/alcohol testing.

Must pass a 10-year work history background check, as well as criminal history and fingerprint checks as required by the TSA.
-
Commitment to all safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and state/federal requirements.

Full-time employees are eligible for the following:

Insurance:
Health, vision, and dental insurance, plus short/long-term disability and voluntary life insurance (effective the first day of the month following the hire date).

401(k) Savings Plan:
Eligible the first day of the month following the hire date; company match up to 6% of eligible compensation.

Paid Sick Leave:
Accrual of up to 56 hours per year; unused leave rolls over annually up to a 480-hour bank.

Vacation:
Vested vacation hours provided on January 1st following the hire date.

Travel Privileges:
Non-Revenue/Space Available (NRSA) travel on Contour Airlines upon hire; MyID Travel access after 6 months of service.

Leaves of Absence:
Eligibility for medical, non-medical family care, maternity/paternity, and personal leave as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
