Job Summary:
The First Officer is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Embraer Regional Jet 135/145 (ERJ). This individual will comply with schedules and directives, perform assigned duties according to company guidelines, and contribute to a positive passenger experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize safety in all aspects of flight operations.
- Adhere to schedules and directives concerning the safe operation of the aircraft.
- Execute company-assigned duties in accordance with manuals, memos, and policies.
- Conduct thorough preflight planning and flight plan preparation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers.
- Ensure the aircraft is clean, well-prepared, and stocked with necessary provisions.
- Adhere to the company's uniform policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-year degree preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Possession of a current passport.
- Commercial, multi-engine land license, instrument airplane rating.
- Possession of a current first-class medical certificate (verified at the time of the interview).
- Authorization to work in the United States and travel in and out of the country.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
- Ability to pass a 10-year work history review, criminal history records check, reference check, and national drivers record check with no excessive check ride failures.
- Successful completion of a DOT-required pre-employment drug screen and willingness to undergo random drug and alcohol tests.

- No previous aviation-related accidents or incidents.
- Must have a residence that will ensure the ability to report to work within 120 minutes of dispatch call during the assigned duty period.
- Ability to work in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
Minimum Flight Time Requirements:
- Total Time: 500 hours minimum.
- Multi-Engine Time: 25 hours minimum.
Compensation and Benefits:
The starting annual salary for this position is $36,000.00, with eligibility for yearly increases based on performance, up to $44,959.07. Additional pay incentives may be available based on schedule and performance.
