About the Role

The First Officer will collaborate with flight crew members to ensure the safe and efficient operation of Corning aircraft. This role involves maintaining a high level of proficiency in aircraft systems and procedures, conducting thorough pre-flight inspections to confirm airworthiness, and staying informed about weather conditions. The First Officer will also assist with aircraft and passenger handling, maintaining a professional demeanor with passengers and company personnel, and performing additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1500 hours of flight time.
• Commercial pilot license with instrument and multiengine ratings.
• Current FAA First Class Medical certificate.
• Valid US passport.
• Two-year college degree or equivalent job experience.
• Clean FAA/DOT/DOJ records.
• Extensive domestic and some international travel.
• Relocation within one hour of Elmira-Corning Regional Airport (KELM) is required and company-paid.
• Work schedule varies and may include weekends and holidays.
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be team-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2500 hours of flight time.
• Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
• 500 hours of turbojet experience.
• Experience in multi-pilot crew aircraft utilizing Crew Resource Management (CRM).
• CL-65 type rating or DA-EASY type rating.

Benefits and Compensation

This position offers a competitive salary range of $153,939.00 - $211,667.00. Benefits include multiple yearly bonus opportunities, assigned/requested days off, health and dental insurance, 401K with company match, and paid vacation. A program is in place for upgrade to Captain upon completion of minimum requirements. Corning also provides a company-paid pension benefit and a recognition program to celebrate successes.
