Contour | First Officer

Contour Aviation is seeking a qualified First Officer to join its Citation XL/XLS fleet operations based at its headquarters in Smyrna, TN. This role operates within a Part 135 on-demand charter environment and requires a candidate with a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.

About the Role

The First Officer will support the Captain in all aspects of flight operations for a Citation XL/XLS aircraft. This position demands a high level of professionalism, leadership, and dedication to ensuring safe, reliable, and customer-focused charter services.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
• Possession of a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive, customer-focused attitude.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to effectively interact with diverse personalities while maintaining professionalism.
• Self-motivated with the capacity to motivate others.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to undergo and pass DOT-required pre-employment drug screening.
• Commitment to FAA and Company-mandated random drug and alcohol testing.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive 10-year work history background check.
• Successful completion of criminal history and fingerprint checks as mandated by the TSA.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and irregular shifts.
• Strict adherence to all safety regulations and professional conduct standards.
• Compliance with OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
• Possession of a current, valid passport.
• Ability to routinely lift 75 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• No history of excessive check ride failures.
• No previous aviation-related accidents or incidents.

Qualifications

• Commercial Pilot Certificate with a Multi-Engine Rating.
• SIC Type Rating for the Citation XL/XLS.
• First-Class Medical Certificate.
• Minimum of 1,200 total flight hours.
• Minimum of 250 Pilot in Command (PIC) hours.
• Minimum of 25 Multi-Engine Land hours.
• Minimum of 75 instrument hours.
