Position Summary
The Flight Attendant is responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of passengers while delivering high-quality customer service in accordance with FAA regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures. This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure during in-flight operations and emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities

Perform duties in compliance with all FAA regulations and internal company policies.

Prioritize cabin safety, security, and passenger comfort on every flight.

Provide exemplary customer service, including the preparation and service of meals, snacks, and beverages.

Assist passengers with specific needs, including unaccompanied minors, elderly travelers, and individuals with disabilities.

Execute safety demonstrations and provide clear, professional communication via public announcements.

Respond to emergency situations by implementing flight deck instructions, guiding evacuations, and administering medical assistance, including CPR and first aid.

Maintain the cleanliness and orderly appearance of the cabin, galley, and lavatories.

Complete all necessary reports and documentation related to safety, incidents, or service.

Perform physical tasks, including retrieving items from overhead bins (up to 67 inches high), operating aircraft doors weighing up to 60 lbs, pushing/pulling beverage carts requiring up to 32 lbs of force, and lifting up to 75 lbs (with or without accommodation).

Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Compensation and Benefits
Contour Airlines offers a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits for full-time employees:

Salary:
Starting annual salary of $34,000.00, with annual increases up to $42,500.00.

Retention Bonus:
Up to $2,000.00 per year upon reaching the maximum salary.

Insurance:
Health, vision, and dental insurance, plus short/long-term disability and voluntary life insurance (effective the first day of the month following hire).

401(k) Savings Plan:
Company match of up to 6% of eligible compensation, effective the first day of the month following hire.

Paid Leave:
Accrual of up to 56 hours of paid sick leave annually (rollover up to 480 hours) and vested vacation hours starting January 1st following hire.

Travel Privileges:
Non-revenue/space available (NRSA) travel privileges upon hire, with MyID Travel access after 6 months of service.

Eligibility for medical, family care, maternity/paternity, and personal leave.
