About the Role

Contour Airlines is seeking experienced Captains for full-time employment operating the Embraer Legacy 600 (EMB-135BJ) fleet in the United States. This role emphasizes exceptional professionalism, sound judgment, leadership, and a steadfast commitment to safety and customer service, operating under 14 CFR Part 135 regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety above all other operational considerations.
• Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) in strict adherence to all applicable FAA regulations and Company policies.
• Assume final authority and responsibility for the safe operation of each assigned flight.
• Conduct comprehensive preflight planning and operational risk assessments.
• Ensure strict compliance with all Company manuals, policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain the highest standards of aircraft cleanliness, readiness, and presentation.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to all passengers.
• Cultivate a professional and collaborative crew environment through effective Crew Resource Management (CRM).
• Mentor and develop assigned First Officers through effective professional leadership.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by Company leadership.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3,000 total flight hours.
• Minimum of 1,500 Pilot in Command (PIC) flight hours.
• Minimum of 1,000 flight hours in Legacy aircraft or specified type.
• Minimum of 250 PIC flight hours in the specified aircraft type.
• Must be current and proficient in the aircraft type.

Qualifications

• Experience operating under 14 CFR Part 135.
• Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, and leadership capabilities.
