About the Role
The Flight Attendant is primarily responsible for the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of passengers during flights. This includes maintaining cabin safety, conducting safety briefings, and effectively responding to emergency situations. The role demands a high level of customer service, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to remain composed and effective under pressure. Key responsibilities encompass providing passenger assistance, serving refreshments, maintaining cabin orderliness, and ensuring compliance with all FAA regulations and company policies. The successful candidate will also be responsible for accurately completing all required documentation and reports.
Key Responsibilities

Perform all duties in the aircraft environment in strict accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.

Prioritize passenger safety and comfort on every flight.

Deliver exceptional customer service that exceeds passenger expectations.

Assist passengers with luggage stowage and provide support to those requiring additional assistance.

Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages.

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Respond effectively to emergency situations, including implementing safety procedures and guiding passengers during evacuations.

Provide emergency medical assistance, including CPR and first aid, as needed.

Ensure passenger and aircraft compliance with safety, security, and operational standards.

Conduct clear and professional safety demonstrations and public announcements.

Complete all required reports, paperwork, and documentation accurately.

Operate and secure aircraft doors and galley/cabin service equipment.

Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the cabin, galley, and lavatories.

Adhere to all safety-conscious behaviors in daily operations.

Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership or the Pilot-in-Command.
Requirements

Minimum age: 23 years.

High school diploma or GED required.

Possession of a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and a valid passport.

Authorized to work in the United States and able to travel internationally.

Fluent in English; bilingual skills are preferred but not mandatory.

Successful completion of a DOT pre-employment drug screen and ongoing random testing.

Must pass a comprehensive 10-year background check, criminal history review, fingerprinting, and reference checks.

Successful completion of Contour’s four-week Flight Attendant Initial Training Program.

Ability to work variable schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and duty periods up to 16 hours.

Must reside within one (1) hour of the assigned domicile.

Able to lift up to 75 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
